A space to reconnect

Sissa is a place to slow down and return to the body.
A space where movement, sound, and shared practice come together to support presence, and connection.

We gather in ways that invite you to listen more deeply to yourself, to others, and to the world around you.

There are many ways to engage, classes, circles, and 1:1 sessions, but at the center is something simple: space to slow down, to listen, and to be with yourself and others.

Well-being isn’t something you do alone.
It’s something we build together.

This work is rooted in connection, to the body, to story, and to one another - bridging the space between where we are, where we come from, and what we carry.

Less about fixing, more about remembering.

How We Gather

The Story Behind Sissa

Sissa was created by Katie as a space for movement, sound, creativity, and community, rooted in presence, connection, and shared experience.

This work is deeply personal. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune connective tissue disease, Katie began a journey of reconnecting with her body, learning to slow down, listen, and work with her nervous system.

That path led her to study the subtle body through sound, energy, seasonal embodiment, somatic practices, meditation, and yoga, deepening her understanding of how we support the body through presence, listening, and connection.

The name Sissa came in a dream. It was her mother’s nickname, given by family and childhood friends, someone known for her warmth, creativity, and ability to make others feel seen.

Sissa is both a reflection of Katie’s journey and a tribute to that spirit.
